Tumbling Creek Farm is nestled in the Sierra Foothills just east of Nevada City at 2900 feet. We are a 38-acre homestead practicing the art of sustainability. Our environment
is peaceful and meditative. We harvest rain for our crops, capture rain in our swales, and use biodynamic and permaculture practices.
We grow organic produce and eggs, and pasture-raised livestock and we create quality crafts. We are both certified organic and use Biodynamic® principles in our farming practices.
Spring through fall we offer our fantastic Oyster, Shiitake and Lion’s Mane Mushrooms and other delicious produce at area farmers markets. Year-round you can find our oyster mushrooms at the SPD in Nevada City, Mother Truckers, Natural Selections, and the Briarpatch. Three Forks Bakery and Brewery also uses our mushrooms in their pizzas and sandwiches.
We share our forest farm with an abundance of wildlife – You are welcome to visit our farm for bird watching or a tranquil afternoon stroll. The birds are abundant. Come walk through the forest to still your soul and sit by the tumbling spring waterfalls.
